The theme of this concert symbolizes a unique resilience characteristic of the "Tainan Second" alumni: we understand our position and have found our distinct place within the world of music. This is more than just a performance; it is a "conscious collective memory." We aim to inspire alumni across generations to rethink the meaning of standing on stage while fulfilling our mission of mentorship and heritage for our younger peers.
Since its founding in 2004, the Tainan Second Senior High School Alumni Wind Orchestra has remained steadfast in its passion for music, earning widespread acclaim for its annual performances. This year, we are honored to welcome Dr. Lin Chin-Ming, Doctor of Musical Arts from Louisiana State University, as our conductor, leading a talented ensemble of alumni and current students to create lasting summer memories.
