About the Show
Audio-visual bombardment and self-management, effective expression and intermittent aphasia, absorbing prospects and letting go of control, daily and contemporary, unheard and ignored. In this incomplete reading, oscillating between the two, conclusions aren't quite certain; for now, amplifying all clues, allowing the sensation of filtering through information. If one could maintain conscious stillness in the moment, could the boundary between inner and outer momentarily blur? And what is that, and why? Within the theater of space, immersed in the possibility of mistranslation, I can amend my familiar symbols, prior to interpretation, rearranging some responses' virtuality, the hesitant prophecies left unsaid.
Team Introduction
This performance invites director Cheng Chih-yuan to serve as both director and playwright. It is implemented by Gearcreation in collaboration with various theater designers. They lead students from the Department of Drama Creation and Application at NUTN in an 18-week workshop to gather preliminary materials for creation. In the later stage, Cheng Chih-Yuan will oversee the scriptwriting and directing, while NTNU DDCA students who have taken the course will serve as performers, culminating in the completion of this theater performance.
